titleOfInvention Molding method for opening end of car interior material
abstract PURPOSE:To prevent other parts from being caught by the opening when they are inserted into this opening by a method wherein when a car interior type material which is composed of a damper and a skin and has a through opening is molded, the skin in the opening part is molded in a special shape and then cut. CONSTITUTION:When a car interior type material (a pad etc.) 1 having a shin 1b which covers the surface of a damping body 1a such as foamed urethane or the like and an opening 2 which penetrates the skin is manufactured, the skin 1b is molded in vacuum so that an indent 6 having a V-shaped section can be provided over all the circumferences of corresponding parts on the edge of the opening 2. Next, a mold 7 is inserted into the opening part 2 of the skin 1b and holds the inner circumference and the bottom part 1b1 of the opening 2, foaming urethane is charged and expanded in the inner part of the skin 1b as the bottom part 1b1 is pushed up by a back mold 8, and the indent part 6 of the skin 1b is pushed by the expanding pressure from both its sides to form a folded part 9. Subsequently, the bottom part 1b1 is stamped leaving the folded part 9 and a pushing lug piece 3 continued thereto.
