titleOfInvention Photosensitive and heat sensitive type recording member
abstract PURPOSE:To obtain the titled recording member with high contrast and high resolving power by forming a specified basic substance generating layer, an intermediate layer and a color developing layer on a support. CONSTITUTION:A support 1 is covered with a basic substance generating layer 2 composed of a 1-10mum thick layer 21 of polynuclear quinone showing absorption in the wavelength region of 400-550nm and of a 1-20mum thick layer 22 based on a Co (III) ammine complex and/or a Co (III) amine complex (a), a hydrogen donor (b), and a chelating agent (c) causing slight absorption in the visible part when coordinated to Co, a 1-10mum thick intermediate layer 3 of a water-soluble resin and/or an emulsion resin, and a 1-20mum thick color developing layer 4 consisting of oxidizable leucoaminotriarylmethane (d), an acid (e) promoting color development, and hexaarybiimidazole (f) convertible into an oxidizing agent for the leucoaminotriarylmethane by the absorption of ultraviolet rays.
