| abstract | PURPOSE: To obtain the captioned molded product which are free from runaway and foams on the coat presenting fine appearances by a method wherein a composition for a special surface layer is coated on a metal molding die and unsaturated polyester resin is charged and molded in a unitary body with the composition. n CONSTITUTION: 50W150pts.wt. of filler (for examples: calcium carbonate, silica, etc.) are mixed with 100pts.wt. of a mixture composed of 50W95pts.wt. of alkylated methylol-melamine resin and 5W50pts.wt. of unsaturated polyester resin, unsaturated alkyd resin or mixture thereof and further a composition obtained by adding solvent to the mixture, if necessary, is sprayed and coatd on the surface of the metal molding die. Subsequently, molding material of sheetlike or massive unsaturated polyester resin is charged on the coating surface, heated, pressed and molded in a unitary body with the sprayed composition to obtain the desired molded product having melamine resin on the surface. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1982,JPO&Japio |
