titleOfInvention Novel technetium-labeled compound
abstract NEW MATERIAL:The compound of formula (R is H or lower alkyl) labeled with 99m Tc. n EXAMPLE: 99m Tc-benzenesulfonylethylenediamine-N,N-diacetic acid. n USE: A compound of agents of the dignosis of the diseases of the hepatic and bile ducts. In has extremely excellent transferability to the hepatic and bile ducts, and mild excretion from the kidney compared with conventional diagnostic agent. n PROCESS: The titled compound is prepared by adding a solution of pertechnetic acid to an aqueous solution of a condensate of ethylenediamine-N,N-diacetic acid and an aromatic sulfonic acid chloride, in the presence of stannous chloride. The pertechnetic acid solution can be obtained by pouring physiological saline solution from a 99 Mo- 99m Tc generator. For diagnosis, the agent is administered by intravenous injection, in doses of about from several mg to 10mg as unlabeled compound and from 2 to 15mci, pref. about 10mci as labeled compound. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1982,JPO&Japio
