abstract PURPOSE: Seeds of cape jasmine and water are added to thick malt syrup and concentrated with a weak fire, then mixed with an infusion that is made by heating persimmon leaves in water for a few minutes, and they are concentrated to give candies that enables to give up smoking, because it suppresses the withdrawal symptoms caused by giving up smoking to remove irritation. n CONSTITUTION: Thick malt syrup is combined with cape jasmine seeds and water and they are concentrated with a weak fire to half the volume of the water added. Separately, persimmon leaves is boiled in water for a few minutes. Then, both of them are mixed and concentrated under stirring to give the objective smoking-giving up candies. For example, thick malt syrup (120g), seeds of cape jasmine (16), water (800cc) and persimmon leaves (10g) are used to give 40 candies.
