titleOfInvention Ion selective electrode
abstract PURPOSE:To obtain an ion selective electrode which is free from evaporation, deterioration and damage, of an electrolytic solution, by constituting a conductive substance which has been charged in the vessel so as to surround the inside reference electrode, of a nonaqueous solution which has dissolved salts and has a boiling point of a specific temperature. CONSTITUTION:This electrode is constituted of an inside reference electrode 12 which has been stored in an electrode vessel 11, a conductive substance 14 which has been charged in the inside of a space constituted of a screen wall 13 so as to surround said electrode, for instance, that which has dissolved tetraethyl ammonium chloride in propylene glycol whose boiling point is 188.2 deg.C. a chlorine ion selective membrane 15 storing this substance and constituting a part of the vessel, which has been constituted by press-forming the powder of silver chloride and silver sulfide, and a lead wire 16 which is connected to the inside reference electrode 12 and is lead out to the outside. In this way, it is possible to obtain an ion selective electrode which is free from evaporation, deterioration and damage, of an electrolytic solution.
