PURPOSE:To prepare earthworm extract having remarkable effect for keeping human health, by treating earthworms at low temperature to remove feces from the body, pressing the worms with a hydraulic press, and distilling the produced liquid. CONSTITUTION:Earthworms are washed with water to remove the filthy matter of the body surface, put in a plastic bag, sealed, placed in a refrigerator at 5-10 deg.C for about 24hr, taken out of the bag, and washed with water to remove the faces. After repeating the process, the worms are put in a cloth bag, dehydrated with a dehydrator, and pressed with a hydraulic press. The squeezed out liquid is filtered to remove the solid components, and distilled to obtain the colorless, transparent, and tasteless earthworm extract. |
