abstract | NEW MATERIAL:The compound of formula I (R is halogen, lower alkyl, lower alkoxy, nitro or trihaloalkyl; R 1 is lower alkyl; R 2 is lower alkoxy; n is integer 0W 5; provided that when n is 0, R 1 is not methyl and R 2 is not methoxy). n EXAMPLE: 2-Methyl-3-methoxy-6-(m-chlorophenyl)-5-oxo-2,5-dihydro-1,2,4-triazine. n USE: Herbicide effective remarkably against the weeds of plowed field by the soil treatment before sprouting of the weeds or by the foliar treatment of the weeds at the growing stage.
