titleOfInvention Thermosetting resin composition
abstract PURPOSE: To prepare the titled composition having excellent storage stability and giving a cured product having excellent heat resistance, by the use of a polyfunctional epoxy compound, a polyfunctional isocyanate compound, and 1,8-diazabicyclo (5,4,0)undecene-7 as essential components. n CONSTITUTION: The objective composition is prepared by mixing (A) a polyfunctional epoxy compound (e.g. bisphenol-A diglycidyl ether), (B) a polyfunctional isocyanate compound (e.g. diphenylmethane-4,4'-diisocyanate) and (C) 1,8-diazabicyclo(5,4,0)undecene-7. The number of the isocyanate groups of the component (B) is adjusted to 0.5W50 per one epoxy group of the component (A), and the amount of the component (C) is pref. 0.05W2mol per 1mol of the component (B). If necessary, a catalyst to promote the curing reaction is added to the composition. n EFFECT: The composition can be stored stably for 1W3 months, and cured at ≥180°C to obtain a product which can be used under various conditions. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1982,JPO&Japio
