titleOfInvention Enzyme electrode
abstract PURPOSE:To raise the speed of response by providing an enzyme fixing porous film that comprises a porous film for removing inhibition substances and an electricity conductive thin films and further another enzyme fixing porous film. CONSTITUTION:An enzyme fixing porous film 15 is provided between an enzyme fixing porous film 11 and a porous film 13 for inhibition substance removal, having respectively electricity conductive (platinum spattered) thin films 12 and 14, and lead wires 16 and 17 are respectively connected to the films 11 and 14, and an electrolyte 23 is poured into an electrode case 22 that is provided with an Ag/AgCl reference electrode 18 and its opposite electrode 19. On the other hand, a solution 25 to be tested is poured into a vessel 24 and an opposite electrode 21 and a reference electrode 20 are provided. With this arrangement, by providing enzyme fixing porous films 15 more than one that are provided in addition to the films 13 and 11, the film 15 can be made to improve reaction speed more than twice as merely a porous film for removal of inhibition substance that does not fix enzyme. In this way, it becomes possible to measure a minute quantity rapidly and simple by using the porous films 11 and 15 that fix glucose oxidase in blood and others into glutaraldehyde.
