titleOfInvention Alloy for composite magnetic material
abstract PURPOSE: To obtain an alloy for a composite magnetic material enhancing the mechanical characteristics and enabling easy transformation from γ-phase to α-phase by adding a restricted amount of V to an Fe-Mn-C alloy having a specified composition. n CONSTITUTION: This alloy for a composite magnetic material is obtd. by adding 0.1W2.5wt% V to a composition consisting of 2W20wt% Mn, 0.4W2wt% C and the balance Fe. An ingot of this alloy is homogenized in an atmosphere of Ar or the like and quenched in an aqueous NaOH soln. or the like. By the treatment γ-α transformation is caused easily and arbitrarily in accordance with the amount of the added V. By the alloy composition an arbitrary magnetic pattern can be drawn, and this alloy is industrially effective and has a wide area of application and superior productivity. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1982,JPO&Japio
