abstract PURPOSE: To provide an agent for improving the adhesivity, composed of a specific copolymer, a reaction product, and an ultraviolet ray absorber, and useful as a primer for coating the surface of a molded article of polycarbonate resin with a cured organic silicon coating film having excellent abrasion resistance. n CONSTITUTION: The objective adhesivity improving agent can be prepared by mixing (A) 100pts.wt. of a copolymer of (i) an organic silicon compound having hydrolyzable atom or group and ethylenic double bond in the molecule (e.g. vinyl triacetoxysilane), (ii) glycidyl methacrylate and (iii) a monomer having unsaturated double bond (e.g. styrene), (B) 1.0W40.0pts. of the reaction product of (iv) an aminoalkyl-containing silane of formula (R is 1W6C univalent hydrocarbon group; X is hydrolyzable atom or group; m is 0, 1 or 2; n is 1, 2 or 3; a is 0, 1 or 2) with (v) an acid anhydride, and (C) 0.1W30pts of an ultraviolet ray absorber. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1982,JPO&Japio
