titleOfInvention | Production of organogermanium compound |
abstract | PURPOSE: A halo cyclic germanium, compound is hydrolyzed at a specific pH to produce the titled compound effective for inhibiting cancer and allergy, and for hypertension, diuresis, fibroid lung and brochial asthma through a simple process in high yield. n CONSTITUTION: Acidic hydrolysis of a halocyclic germanium compound of formulaI(X is halogen; R is H, 1W3C alkyl) is conducted at a pH of 0.5W6.5, preferably 1W6 to give an organogermanium, compound of formula II. The compound of formulaI, the starting material, is obtained by reaction of a halogenated germanium compound of formula III with an acrylic acid derivative of formula IV (M is alkali metal) in a solvent such as ethanol at a temperature higher than 0°C, preferably room temperature W200°C. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1982,JPO&Japio |
