titleOfInvention Novel trisazo compound and its preparation
abstract NEW MATERIAL:A triazo compound shown by the formulaI. n USE: An electron-generating pigment of laminate type photosensitive substance. A black crystal at normal temperature, standing comparison with inorganic type photosensitive substances in respect of sensitivity, responding quickly to rays having wavelength upto 800nm wavelength of semiconductor laser. Being an inorganic substance, it is provided with merits such as light weight, low cost, etc. n PROCESS: A 4,4',4"-triaminotriphenylamine shown by the formula II is diazotized, converted with an aqueous solution of borofluoric acid into a hexazonium salt shown by the formula III (X is anionic functional group). This compound and 2- hydroxy-3-(2-methylphenylcarbamoyl) benzo[a]carbazole shown by the formula IV are dissolved in N,N-dimethylformamide, etc. and coupled with an aqueous solution of sodium acetate, etc., to give a compound shown by the formulaI. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1982,JPO&Japio
