abstract PURPOSE: A blood agglutination promotor, containing a phosphorous ester alone or further with catechol derivative, etc. and capable of reducing the time required for the judgement of the separation of blood serum and the blood agglutination tests. n CONSTITUTION: A blood agglutination promotor, containing a phosphorous ester expressed by formulaI(R 1 , R 2 and R 3 are phenyl, alkylphenyl, etc.), e.g. tris (monononylphenyl)phosphite alone or further 2,2',4,4'-tetrahydroxybenzophenone expressed by formula II, a catechol derivative expressed by formula III, p,p'-isopropylidenediphenol or an adsorbent inorganic material, e.g. glass or silica, and capable of promoting the agglutination of a collected blood. The promotor exhibits the improved activity against the factor XII or blood platlets in the blood agglutination by mixing thereof with the collected blood in the blood serumal or blood agglutination tests, and the judgment of the separation of blood serum or agglutination time can be carried out in a short time. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1982,JPO&Japio
