titleOfInvention | Bubble gum |
abstract | PURPOSE: To prepare a bubble gum having high film strength, comprising a mixture of a vinyl acetate resin having a high polymerization degree and a vinyl acetate resin having a low polymerization degree. n CONSTITUTION: A gum base for bubble gum is blended with 25W40wt% mixture of a vinyl acetate resin having a high polymerization degree of 1,000W7,000 and a vinyl acetate resin having a low polymerization degree of 100W250 in a weight ratio of (8:92)W(20:80), to give a bubble gum. In the preparation of the vinyl acetate resins, the vinyl acetate resin having a high polymerization degree is obtained by one stage polymerization using a small amount of a solvent, and the vinyl acetate resin having a low polymerization is obtained by adding a large amount of the solvent and a polymerization initiator to the reaction system, so that poly-stage polymerization wherein the mixture of two components of the same polymerization system is formed is carried out. Or resins prepared separately are blended by a kneader, etc., to give the blend. Other components are used by properly selecting commonly used ingredients. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1982,JPO&Japio |
