abstract |
PURPOSE:To reduce a volume of NO2 by a method wherein a catalyst having an improved efficiency of reduction is arranged in the discharged gas passage and NO2 in the discharged gas is reduced to NO. CONSTITUTION:A carrier 11 is processed to enlarge its surface by a blasting process and the like, and a catalyst 10 formed by flame coating of the catalyst material 13 composed of Fe-Cu base alloy having NO2 NO reducing power is arranged in the discharged gas passage 9. Thereby, since NO2 contained in the discharged gas is brought into contact with the catalyst 10 to be reduced to NO, the amt. of NO2 in the discharged gas is decreased. |
