titleOfInvention Dispersant for calcium carbonate
abstract PURPOSE: To use a dispersant of good dispersibility and stability by using a water soluble polymer of polyalkylene glycol monoallyl ether and acrylic monomer of specific structure as a dispersant for calcium carbonate. n CONSTITUTION: The water soluble polymer prepd. by using the polyalkylene glycol monoallyl ether of the formulaI[where m, n are (0) or positive integers and (m+n)=(1W100)]and the (meth)acrylic monomer of the formula II (where R 1 =H or methyl group, X=H, univalent, bivalent metals, etc.) at 0.1W5wt% ratios the formulaIbased on the total weight and copolymerizing these with a polymn. initiator is used as a dispersant for calcium carbonate. Then, the aq. dispersion of the calcium carbonate has excellent dispersibility and stability. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1982,JPO&Japio
