abstract PURPOSE: A herbicide for paddy fields having effects by one treatment, comprising 3,4-dimethyl-2,6-dinitro-N-1 ethylpropylaniline, 2-methylthio-4,6-bisethylamino- S-triazine, etc. as active ingredients. n CONSTITUTION: A herbicide for paddy fields comprising two or three components selected from a compound shown by the formulaI, a compound shown by the formula II, and S-ethyl 4-cloro-2-methylphenoxy-thioacetate shown by the formula III as active ingredients. This herbicide exhibits extremely effective weeding power not only to annual weeds (e.g., Echinochola crus-galli Beauv. var. pracicola Ohwi., umbrella plant, or Monochoria vaginalis Presl) but also to perennial weeds (e.g., Sagittaria pygmaea Miq, Sagittaria trifolia L., Cyperus serotinus Rottb, or slender spikerush) by one treatment. A preferable blending ratio of each component is 3W5pts.wt. compound shown by the formulaI, 1W 2pts.wt. compound shown by the formula II, and 0.7W1pts.wt. compound shown by the formula III, and the herbicide is preferably used in the form of granule. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1982,JPO&Japio
