titleOfInvention Injection-molding method for production of laminated formed article
abstract PURPOSE:To efficiently produce a laminated formed article, by attaching an epidermal material to the inside of a molding die, forming the epidermal material, clamping the other molding die with the former molding die to form a cavity therein, and then forcedly injection-pouring a core material of thermoplastic resin into the cavity so that the core material is united with the epidermal material. CONSTITUTION:An epidermal material 11, prepared by laminating the nonwoven fabric 12 of polypropylene or the like to the sheet of formed vinyl chloride resin or the like, is attached to a metal die 2 by fixing its periphery with set pins 10. The epidermal material 11 is formed by the operation of a vacuum pump 8 to bring the epidermal material 11 into close contact with the inner surface of the die 2 through a valve 9, a manifold 4 and a communicating hole 6. Thereafter, the other metal die 3 is attached to the metal die 2 to form a cavity therein. Thermoplastic resin (e.g. polypropylene) as a core material is injected into the cavity through a nozzle 15 and a through hole 14. In this way, a laminated formed article, comprising the core material 16 united with the epidermal material 11, is produced.
