titleOfInvention | Cultivated cell belonging to new variety of euphorbia millii ch. des moulins of genus euphorbia |
abstract | PURPOSE: To carry out the planned production of a red pigment chrysanthemin on an industrial scale, by creating a cultivated cell belonging to a variety of Euphorbia Millii Ch. des Moulins of the genus Euphorbia having a high ability to produce the chrysanthemin and an undifferentiated cellular form. n CONSTITUTION: Cellular tissues of Euphorbia Millii Ch. des Moulins of the genus Euphorbia are cultivated in a culture medium containing preferably 2,4-dichlorophenoxyacetic acid and sucrose to induce undifferentiated cells having the ability to produce chrysanthemin. The undifferentiated cells having a high and stable ability to produce the chrysanthemin are selected on a culture medium containing preferably 2,4-dichlorophenoxyacetic acid and sucrose to fix the characteristics thereof. As a result, cultivated cells, having a high and stable productivity of the chrysanthemin, a high growth rate and improved environmental adaptability, and belonging to a new variety are obtained. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1982,JPO&Japio |
