abstract PURPOSE: To provide a polymer compsn. excellent in hydrophilicity transparency, water resistance, etc. and suitable for film and sheet materials, prepared by mixing polyvinyl chloride and polyvinylpyrrolidone in a specified blend ratio. n CONSTITUTION: Polyvinyl chloride and polyvinylpyrrolidone are blended in a mixer in 98:2W20:80 by wt. and, if necessary, heat stabilizer, plasticizer, filler, etc. are added. The mixt. is kneaded by means of a mixing roll, etc. under heat and pressure.
