NEW MATERIAL:A reaction product obtained by reacting an organic polyisocyanate with an addition compound of a monohydric alcohol with ethylene oxide and propylene oxide. n EXAMPLE: A reaction product obtained by reacting diphenylmethane diisocyanate with an adduct of methyl alcohol with ethylene oxide and propylene oxide. n USE: An aqueous binder, aqueous adhsive, etc. Easily emulsified in water, having a long not life, and the addition of a silicone-containing surface active agent to it improves extremely the strong points. n PROCESS: Ethylene oxide and propylene oxide are added to a monohydric alcohol as an initiator in the presence of a basic catalyst. The prepared adduct is reacted with an organic polyisocyanate, to give the desired isocyanates. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1982,JPO&Japio |
