titleOfInvention | Rubber composition |
abstract | PURPOSE: To provide a rubber composition giving a vulcanized product having excellent compression set and heat resistance, by combining an epoxy group-containing acrylic rubber with a vulcanizing system comprising a guanidine compound or a mixture of said compound and sulfur or a sulfur compound. n CONSTITUTION: 100pts.wt. of an acrylic rubber containing epoxy groups is compounded with 1W10pts. of a guanidine compound of a mixture of 1W10pts. of a guanidine compound and <0.1pt. of sulfur or ≤1.5pts. of a sulfur compound which generates free sulfur by decomposition. The acrylic rubber is a copolymer of an alkyl acrylate or its derivative and a compound containing epoxy group, e.g. glycidyl (meth)acrylate. The amount of the epoxy-containing compound is 1W5wt%, preferably 1.5W3wt% of the whole monomers. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1982,JPO&Japio |
