titleOfInvention Manufacture of porous molded form
abstract PURPOSE: To obtain the porous molded form pertinent to water absorption properties and chemical processing properties by a method wherein a thermoplastic compound containing a special polymer is molten and molded and protrusions are formed on the surface of the molded form, thereafter, rhombic pores are formed on the skin layer by reducing the amt. of alkali. n CONSTITUTION: The compound of thermoplastic resin (polyester consisting of polyethylene phthalate substantially is preferable) added with 1W15wt% of the polymer (a polysulfone series composition having a repeating unit as shown by the formula is preferable) having 150°C or higher of a glass transit temperature, being amorphous and non-reactive against said resin is molten and molded, then, semispherical and/or semiellipsoidal protrusions are formed on the surface of this molded form. Thereafter, the rhombic pores are formed on the skin layer thereof by reducing the amt. of alkali to obtain the objective porous molded form. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1982,JPO&Japio
