abstract PURPOSE: The titled tasteless stimulant-free agent haing high tack, improved application feeling, and no slippery feeling in the oral cavity in the use to wet surface, obtained by blending a paraffin type hydrocarbon compound as a main agent with a carboxyvinyl polymer as an auxiliary, and a viscosity builder. n CONSTITUTION: A paraffin type hydrocarbon compound as a main agent is blended with a carboxyvinyl polymer as an auxiliary and a viscosity builder. Vaseline, microcrystalline wax, solid paraffin, liquid paraffin, polyethylene, etc. are used as the paraffin type hydrocarbon compound as the main agnet. The carboxyvinyl polymer consists of a copolymer of acrylic acid and an allylated polyhydric alcohol, and its amount is preferably ≥2wt% based on the main agent.
