titleOfInvention | Manufacture of urethane foam panel |
abstract | PURPOSE:To shorten the time of after curing operation, raise the productivity of urethan foam panels, and save the cost of installation and the amount of energy consumed by a method in which the temperature of a jig is kept at ordinarly temperature in the after curing process following the expansion of urethane resin when the urethane resin is injected into the heat-insulating door of a refrigerator. CONSTITUTION:A flat box-like door frame 1 corresponding to the outer frame of a final product consists of a door outside plate 2 and a door inside plate 3. A jig 4 consists of an upper jig 7 and a lower jig 8, each being made of urethane foam, the outsides of which are reinforced by reinforcing plates 5 and 6. The jig 4 is set inside the door frame 1, and then urethane resin is injected into the door frame 1, whereupon the urethane resin begins to expand soon at ordinary temperature. When the expanding pressure of the urethane resin rises and the urethane resin fills up the inside of the door frame 1 entirely, a maximum expanding pressure of the urethane resin is reached. From the time, an aftercuring process is started and continued for about 3 minutes until the strength, or skeletal strength, of the polyurethane foam exceeds the expanding pressure of the urethane resin in the case of the jig whose temperature is about 25 deg.C. Then, the product is taken out of the jig. |
