titleOfInvention Silylated polyoxyalkylene composition
abstract PURPOSE: To prepare the titled composition having improved curability and adhesivity, and suitable as a sealing material, etc. which cures at room temperature with the moisture in air, by adding a curing agent capable of accelerating the hydrolysis of silyl group to polyoxyalkylene modified with a silyl-terminated silicone. n CONSTITUTION: The objective composition is obtained by compounding (A) 100pts.wt. of a polyoxyalkylene modified with an alkoxysilyl-or alkoxyethoxysilyl-terminated silicone, represented by formulaI[R 1 is alkyl or alkoxyethyl; R 2 is univalent hydrocarbon group or triorganosiloxy; R 3 and R 4 are bivalent hydrocarbon group; R 5 is 1W4C bivalent hydrocarbon group; R 6 is -R 5 - or b-valent hydrocarbon group of formula II or formula III (R 7 is H or 1W2C univalent hydrocarbon group); a is 0W2 and is a number corresponding to the presence of ≥2 OR 1 groups in the molecule on an average; b is 2W6; n×b=10W250]and having a molecular weight of 500W20,000, with (B) 0.1W20pts. of a curing agent which accelerates the hydrolysis of the alkoxysilyl group or the alkoxyethoxysilyl group (e.g. organic titanate). n COPYRIGHT: (C)1982,JPO&Japio
