abstract PURPOSE:To obtain a sheet product having high transparency and excellent light-diffusing property, causing little change in the light diffusing property by drawing, and suitable for illumination use, by dispersing aluminum hydroxide and calcium carbonate particles having specific diameters in an acrylic resin. CONSTITUTION:An acrylic resin sheet containing dispersed particles consisting of aluminum hydroxide particles having an average particle diameter of 0.5-20mu in an amount of 10-200g/m<2> and calcium carbonate particles having an average particle diameter of 0.5-20mu in an amount of 10-100g/m<2>. The crylic resin is a polymer obtained by the polymerization of methyl methacrylate monomer, a monomer mixture composed mainly of methyl methacrylate, or their partial polymer, and having a viscosity-average polymerization degree of 500-30,000, preferably 1,000-20,000.
