abstract PURPOSE:To provide a glass-fiber reinforced resin compsn. which has excellent moldability and produces molded articles having excellent appearance, by blending a glass fiber, an ionic copolymer and montan wax with a polyethylene terephthalate resin. CONSTITUTION:100pts.wt. Polyethylene terephthalate (A) having an intrinsic viscosity of 0.9 or below (measured in o-chlorophenol at 35 deg.C), 5-200pts.wt. glass fiber (B), 0.1-10pts.wt. ionic copolymer (C) contg. mono-, bi- or trivalent metal ion and composed of an alpha-olefin and a salt of an alpha,beta-unsaturated carboxylic acid (optionally an alpha,beta-unsaturated carboxylic acid and/or an alpha,beta-unsaturated carboxylic acid ester may be used as the components of said copolymer), and 0.3- 3pts.wt. montan wax (D) having a neutralization value and a saponification value represented by 50<=NV<=110, 100<=SV<=180 and 10<=(SV-NV)<=100 (wherein NV is a neutralization value and SV is a saponification value).
