titleOfInvention Phenolic molding material
abstract PURPOSE: To provide the titled molding material having excellent impact resistance, by adding chipped felt to a phenolic molding material. n CONSTITUTION: Chipped felt (e.g., cotton or PVA fiber), a filler (e.g CaCO 3 ), a parting agent (e.g. stearic acid) and a colorant (e.g. carbon black), are blended with a phenolic resin obtd. by reacting a (modified) phenol with an aldehyde in the presence of an acid catalyst or an alkaline catalyst. The mixture is kneaded and crushed to obtain the desired phenolic molding material. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1982,JPO&Japio
