titleOfInvention | Production of particulate, easily water-soluble cellulose derivative composition |
abstract | PURPOSE: To obtain the titled compsn. which has excellent solubility and dispersibility in water and does not exhibit scattering, by mixing a water-soluble inorg. salt, an aldehyde and water with a water-soluble cellulose derivative, granulating the mixture and drying it. n CONSTITUTION: A mixture consisting of 100pts.wt. water-soluble cellulose derivative such as sodium carboxymethyl-cellulose, 10W300pts.wt. water-soluble inorg. salt such as Na 2 SO 4 , 0.01W5pts.wt. aldehyde such as glyoxal and 5W150pts.wt. water, is granulated and then dried with heating to produce the titled compsn. The water-soluble cellulose derivative is in a finely divided form. When this is introduced into water, a part in contact with water is caused to gel. The remaining part is prevented from being contacted with water. Thus, the formation of undissolved lumps can be inhibited in this process. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1982,JPO&Japio |
