titleOfInvention Centrifugal molding method for composite material pipe
abstract PURPOSE:To prevent a resin from being affected by oxygen in air, by a method wherein an inert gas used for feeding sand, fibers and a pelletized resin is heated to melt the pelletized resin during the feeding thereof. CONSTITUTION:The inert gas is taken out from a lower part of an inert-gas zone B in a gravity separating tower 20 by operating a fan 31 and is supplied into a feed pipe 18 through a supply pipe 30. The inert gas is heated to a high temperature by a heater 32 before being supplied into the pipe 18. In this condition, a valve 17 is operated so that a mixture 16 in a hopper 12 is discharged to a base end of the feed pipe 18 through a discharge port 13. The mixture 16 thus discharged is pneumatically fed by the inert gas jetted from a nozzle 29. Since the inert gas is at a high temperature, the sand and fibers in the mixture 16 are heated, the pelletized resin is melted and the mixture is ejected onto a mold surface 4 through an ejection port 19, thereby achieving centrifugal molding.
