titleOfInvention Centrifugal molding method for resin pipe
abstract PURPOSE:To prevent the effect of oxygen by a method wherein an inert gas heavier than air is supplied from the side of one open end of a rotary mold during centrifugal molding, the gas is recovered through the other end and is separated into air, the inert gas and a drain gas, and the inert gas is reused. CONSTITUTION:An inert gas 5 is taken out from a lower part of an inert-gas zone B in a gravity separating tower 20 by operating a fan 25, and is supplied into an annular supply passage 11 via a supply pipe 23. The inert gas 5 ejected from an annular ejection port 9 through an annular receiving passage 10 flows as a laminar stream on the inside peripheral surface of the resin pipe 32. In this case, since the inert gas 5 is heavier in weight than air and a centrifugal force is exerted, the inert gas 5 flows while covering the inside peripheral surface of the pipe 32. The inert gas thus flowing to the side of the other open end is recovered through an annular recovering port 16 and is fed into the gravity separating tower 20 to separate the gas into the drain gas, the inert gas and air.
