abstract PURPOSE: To improve sensitivity and to form the image of good graininess by contg. a coupler of the specific constitutional formula releasing a diffusive development accelerator as an elimination group in at least one layer thereby forming a silver halide photographic material. n CONSTITUTION: The compd. expressed by A→B (A notes the residual group after removing one hydrogen atom from the active place of the compd. that can cause coupling reaction with the oxidant of an arom. primary amine developer, and B denotes the group exhibiting a developing acceleration effect by elimination through coupling reaction) is contained in at least one layer, whereby a silver halide photographic material is prepared.
