abstract PURPOSE: A composition, containing a copolymer, prepared by a special polymerization method, a graft copolymer and an ordinary copolymer each consisting of an aromatic vinyl monomer, vinyl cyanide monomer and another vinyl monomer, and having improved hue, impact resistance and heat resistance. n CONSTITUTION: A composition obtained by incorporating (A) 20W85pts.wt. copolymer prepared by the aqueous emulsion polymerization of (A) 65W80wt% aromatic vinyl monomer with with (B) 15W30wt% vinyl cyanide monomer and (C) 0W 20wt% copolymerizable monomer in the following manner: (B) The monomer (B) is fed at a slow rate from the initial stage of the polymerization, and the molar ratio of the monomers (A) and (C) to the monomer (B) is kept at 1.3W3 at a polymerization ratio in the range of 0W90% with 0W50pts.wt. copolymer prepared by grafting a monomeric mixture of (A) 50W80wt% monomer (A) with 15W 35wt% monomer (B) and 0W30wt% monomer (C) onto 30W80pts.wt. rubber-like polymer having the glass transition temperature ≤0°C and 0W50pts.wt. copolymer prepared by polymerizing a mixture of 50W80wt% monomer (A), 15W 35wt% monomer (B) and 0W30wt% monomer (C). n COPYRIGHT: (C)1982,JPO&Japio
