titleOfInvention S-ethylcysteinamide, its salt and their preparation
abstract NEW MATERIAL:S-Ethylcysteinamides of formula I (R 1 , R 2 are H, 1W6C lower alkyl, or they incorporate to form 3W5C alkylene or together with a nitrogen atom to form a ring) or their salts. n EXAMPLE: S-Ethyl-N-t-butyloxycarbonyl-L-cysteinethylamide. n USE: A remedy for hepatopathy of human and animal accompanied by necroses, cholagogue, remedy for icterus: they have activity of curing hepatopathy caused by centrilobular necroses in liver and of activating hepatocytes to accelerate the excretion of bile and bile acids and the metabolism of saccharides in liver. n PREPARATION: An S-ethylcystein of formula II (R 3 is amino-protecting group) or its reactive derivative is made to react with an amine of formula III and the amino- protecting group is eliminated, when necessary, neutralized to give the compound of formula I. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1982,JPO&Japio
