titleOfInvention Destroying method of egg of yellow-spotted longicorn beetle
abstract PURPOSE: To destroy securely eggs staying over winter and larvae of yellow-spotted longicorn beetle, a noxious insect, extremely safely and with a small amount of an agent, by using a kerosine composition containing an organic phosphorus type insecticide, and scattering it on mulberries in a period of dormancy. n CONSTITUTION: A kerosene composition containing an organic phosphorus type insecticide (e.g., o,o-dimethyl o-4-cyanophenylthiophosphate, etc.) is used and scattered on mulberries in a period of dormancy, to kill eggs of yellow-spotted longicorn beetle. It is applied one time in a period from late fall to any time before the germination of mulberries. 2-3 Times scatterings will not cause phototoxicity if only it is in a period of dormancy of mulberries. Since the objects of the parts of application are trunks or main branches of mulberries, leaves of mulberries germinated from twigs will not exert bad influence on infant silkworms even if they are fed to them. The composition has strong egg destroying effect, and kills 100% eggs in an amount of active ingredient 1/20 or less than of emulsion scattering. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1982,JPO&Japio
