titleOfInvention Inactivation of toxic substance of microorganisms causing diseases on domestic animals and attenuation of biological preparation
abstract PURPOSE: Persimmon tannin is added to toxic substances produced by microorganisms causing diseases on domestic animals and biological preparations for domestic animals to inactivate toxic substances and to effect the attenuation of the toxicity of substances causing side-effects in the biological preparation. n CONSTITUTION: Persimmon tannin such as condensed tannin is added to toxic substances produced by microorganisms causing diseases on domestic animals and to biological preparations for domestic animals such as swine phlogosis vaccine or swine atrophic rhinitis to inactivate these toxic substances and to attenuate the toxicity of side-effect substance in the biological preparations. Usually, it is sufficiently effective when less than 0.1% aqueous solution is added by a small amount, thus the inactivation of toxicity is strongly developed and the toxicity of persimmon tannin itself is out of problems. Further, in spite of inactivation of toxicity and attenuation of side-effects, the objective antigenecity is not affected. The condensed tannin in astringent persimmons is readily extractable in high yield and does not develope side-effects such as anaphylaxis or allergy. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1982,JPO&Japio
