titleOfInvention Method for increasing concentration of oxygen in room
abstract PURPOSE: To increase the concn. of oxygen in room easily and economically by using an oxygen enricher using a high polymer membrane as a means of increasing the concn. of oxygen, mixing the oxygen-enriched air therefrom with air and releasing the mixture into the room. n CONSTITUTION: An oxygen enricher which uses a high polymer membrane permitting permeation of oxygen faster than nitrogen and obtains oxygen-enriched air from the atmospheric air is used. Said enricher is so installed that the atmospheric air is taken into the enricher from the outside of the room and to introduce the oxygen-enriched air into the room while releasing the nitrogenenriched air discharged therefrom to the outside of the room. The oxygen-enriched air introduced from this oxygen enricher into the room is mixed with air and is released into the room at least at 0.1m/sec, more preferably 0.2W10m/sec velocities of wind. It is preferable to form the mixture of air and to release the same in such a way that the concn. of oxygen in said room is maintained at 21W 30vol%. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1982,JPO&Japio
