PURPOSE: The titled composition, prepared by incorporating a specific unsaturated polyester with a specific thermoplastic polymer, a liquid unsaturated monomer, etc. having a low shrinkage, and capable of giving a molded article having improved water resistance and electrical properties under heating. n CONSTITUTION: (A) A unsaturated polyester resin containing hydrogenated bisphenol A as a polyhydric alcoholic component is incorporated with (B) an unsaturated liquid ethylenic monomer copolymerizable with the component (A), e.g. styrene, (C) a filler, e.g. calcium carbonate, (D) (i) polystyrene and (ii) polyvinyl acetate as a thermoplastic resin and (E) a fibrous reinforcing agent, e.g. glass fibers. The amounts of the components (B) and (D) are as follows: 5W 20wt% component (B) in the total composition and 1W19wt% components (i) and (ii) in the component (D).
