PURPOSE: To prepare an easily handleable insecticide having high aging stability and pulverizable without addition of an assistant, by using a clathrate compound of 0,0-dimethyl N-methylcarbamoylmethyldithiophosphate and a cyclodextrin. n CONSTITUTION: The objective insecticide contains a clathrate compound of 0,0- dimethyl N-methylcarbamoylmethyldithiophosphate and cyclodextrin as an active component. The clathrate compound can be prepared by adding 1pt.wt. of dimethoate to a mixture of 8pts.wt. of the cyclodextrin and about 8pts.wt. of water, thoroughly stirring and kneading the composition, and drying under reduced pressure to obtain powder.
