titleOfInvention Discrimination method for electrically conductive fiber
abstract PURPOSE:To detect the existence or mixed quantity of an electrically conductive fiber, by connecting a metallic body contact type sensing part to an input part of an amplifier circuit of a high sensitive wide band or a selective band and bringing said part into contact with a body to be inspected intermittently or continuously and moving it. CONSTITUTION:An amplifier circuit 2 of a high sensitive wide hand or a selective band is connected to a metallic body contact type sensing part 1. The part 1 is smooth rod having a contact area, and e.g. hard brass plate with chromium is used for the part 1 and said part is connected to a circuit 2 by a high insulating cable. When the part 1 held in a charged state is brought into contact with a material A to be inspected such as yarn or cloth, the existence of an electrically conductive fiber is detected by the output device 3 through an amplifier circuit 2 becuase an electric potential is varied instantaneously by leaking an electric current and an electric pulse signal is generated when the electrically conductive fiber exists in the material A. Also, the quantity of said fiber mixed in the material A can be presumed by utilizing preliminarily prepared standard data.
