titleOfInvention Pyrophosphoric ester derivative
abstract NEW MATERIAL:A compound expressed by formulaI[R 1 is allyl, methacryloyloxyalkyl, etc.; R 2 is allyl, methacryloyloxy(lower)alkyl or dimethacryloyloxy (lower)alkyl; R 3 is allyl, methacryloyloxy(lower)alkyl, dimethacryloyloxy(lower) alkyl or aryl; The alkyl groups in R 1 and R 2 may be substituted by hydroxyl]. n EXAMPLE: The compound expressed by formula II. n USE: A filling material and adhesive for dental use. n PROCESS: A phosphoric monoester, e.g. 2-methacryloxyethyl phosphate, is reacted with dicyclohexylcarbodiimide in a solvent, e.g. anhydrous acetonitrile, at room temperature. After the completion of the reaction, crystals of a urea derivative are filtered off, and the solvent is distilled away under reduced pressure to give the compound expressed by formulaI. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1982,JPO&Japio
