titleOfInvention Resin composition
abstract PURPOSE: A resin composition excellent in dimentional stability and heat resistance, and moldable with high productivity at a low mold temp., Which is prepd. by compunding a polyethylene terephthalate resin with a caprolactom of specified molecular wt. and a nucleating agent. n CONSTITUTION: A resin composition prepd. by compounding 100pts.wt. palyethylene terephthalate resin (A) of intrinsic viscosity 0.35W0.90 at 35°C in ortho- cholorophenol with 5W200pts.wt. filler (B) such as a glass fiber, arom. polyamide fiber, silica or CaCO 3 , 0.1W20pts.wt. polycaprolactam (C) of number-average MW 200W20,000 and a nucleating agent (D) such as talc or a metal salt, e.g., Na, K, Mg or Ca salt, if acetic, caproic or maleic acid, each of average particle size ≤20μ. Incarporation of the component C in combination with the component D makes it possible to mold with high productivity a molded product with dimensional stability and heat resistance at a mold temp. ≤110°C during molding. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1982,JPO&Japio
