NEW MATERIAL:An alicyclic compound of formulaI(Cyl is cyclic group of 7 or less carbon atoms; R 1 is H, lower alkyl; R 2 is H, lower alkyl, aralkyl; R 3 is H, lower alkyl) or its salt. n EXAMPLE: N-(1-Ethoxycarbonyl-3-phenylpropyl)-L-alanyl-N-cyclopentylglycine. n USE: An agent for preventing and heating hypertension, analgesic, auxiliary analgesic. It has high activity of inhibiting enzymes transforming angiotensin and hypotensive action, further high safety, because of its low toxicity. n PREPARATION: The condensation reaction of a compound of formula II with another compound of formula III is conducted under a reductive conditions (catalytic reduction in the presence of a catalyst of platinum or palladium) to give the compound of formulaI. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1982,JPO&Japio |
