titleOfInvention Composition of plastic working agent for metal
abstract PURPOSE: To provide a plastic working agent composition for press working etc. of metals, capable of imparting the surface of a metal with lubricity and anticorrosive property when applied to the surface, and containing a di-(long-chain alkyl)ketone and a di-(long-chain alkyl)ether at a specific weght ratio. n CONSTITUTION: The objective composition contains (A) a di-(long-chain alkyl) ketone of formula[R 1 and R 2 are 5W21C alkyl (pref. 9W18C alkyl containing ≤2 double bonds)]and (B) a di-(long-chain alkyl)ether of formula R 3 -O-R 4 [R 3 and R 4 are 5W21C (pref. 8W18C) alkyl] at a weight ratio of 9:91W84:16. The preferable examples of the component A are distearyl ketone, dipalmityl ketone, etc., and those of the component B are dioctyl ether, didecyl ether, etc. n EFFECT: The agent gives excellent rolling properties, and has good workability. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1982,JPO&Japio
