abstract PURPOSE: The titled composition especially useful as a coating compound, not requiring a large amount of a solvent, obtained by blending an amino resin, etc. with a copolymer obtained by polymerizing a mixture of a specific monomer and a copolymerizable monomer in the presence of hydrogen peroxide, etc. n CONSTITUTION: (A) 30W95pts.wt.(calculated as a solid content) copolymer obtained by polymerizing 100pts.wt. monomer mixture of 20W100wt% monomer selected from styrene, acrylonitrile, alkyl methacrylate, and 0W80wt% other copolymerizable monomer in the presence of 0W400pts.wt. organic solvent, 0.05W 15pts.wt. hydrogen peroxide, and 0.01W10pts.wt. reducing substance or a solution of the copolymer in an organic solvent is blended with (B) 5W70pts.wt.(as a solid content) amino resin, polyisocyanate and/or block polyisocyanate resin as a crosslinking component.
