abstract | NEW MATERIAL:The trihaloallyl derivative of formulaI[R is formyl, alkanoyl which may have halogen as substituent group, alkoxycarbonyl which may have halogen, alkoxy or halo(lower alkoxy) as substituent group, or benzoyl which may have halogen, alkyl, alkoxy or cyano as substituent group; X is Cl, Br or I]. n EXAMPLE: 3-Ethoxycarbonyloxy-1,1,2-triiodo-1-propene. n USE: Antiseptic and antimold agent for wood, miticide for agricultural and horticultural use, termite controlling agent, repellent for vermins such as cockroach, and antitrichophytic agent.
