PURPOSE: An antiarteriosclerotic agent, containing aminobenzoic acid-N-D-mannoside or a salt thereof as an active constituent, and administrable for a long term without antimicrobial action. n CONSTITUTION: An antiarteriosclerotic agent containing aminobenzoic acid-N-D- mannoside of formulaIor a salt thereof as an active constituent. The agent is administered orally or parenterally to men and animals in the dosage form of powder, tablet, capsule, suppository, injection, etc., preferably orally. The daily dose per kg body weight for men of the agent is preferably 1W400mg for the oral administration and 0.1W100mg for the parenteral administration in one W divided four fractions.
